These things are all great, and keep the wiring clean!! They will not pull apart, or loosen from vibration.

The Posi-Taps let you add an accessory, or Control a relay from an existing switched hot wire ( like a running light ) without having to cut wires, like a Scotch-lock only better. They are totally reusable as well!!

use some 3 to 1  Adhesive lined shrink tube or Dielectric grease to seal the connector.

Or Use the Water-tite and no need to worry about the elements with its built in seal.

Molex Permaseal - are crimp type butt splices and have a heat shrinkable casing, and a nice hot melt adhesive to seal the crimp from outside elements, Also another great product to have around.
